Falkland Primary School asks that all pupils are dressed appropriately and smartly for school each day, taking into account the weather.

School uniform for all pupils consists of the following:

Trousers or shorts or skirts or culottes – grey or black                        Pinafore dresses – grey

Shirts or polo shirts – white or red                                                           Sweatshirt or jumper or cardigan  – red 

(PE hoodies are not indoor uniform)

Summer dresses – red and white gingham or stripes                          Tights   red, grey, black or white

Socks – grey or black

Shoes should preferably be black and trainers are to be kept for PE.  Plimsolls are also suitable for PE.

PE T-shirt – Reception and KS1 a white T-shirt       PE T-shirt - KS2 a red T-shirt         

PE shorts – Reception and KS1 red                         PE shorts -KS2 black

In colder weather track suits or sports leggings or jogging bottoms can be worn.

Please note the above is guideance only.  Should family have older style uniform from siblings etc, it is acceptable for this to be worn.                                                     

Sensible boots are acceptable in the winter months. These should have a low heel and be suitable to wear all day.

PLEASE LABEL ALL UNIFORM

Jewellery is NOT permitted unless for religious reasons and agreed by the Headteacher.

Piercings are NOT allowed on the grounds of health and safety. Small stud earrings are allowed at your own risk.

Any child coming into school with earrings will be asked to cover them in tape if they are not able to remove them. Please do not send your child into school without tape if they are doing PE. No child will be allowed to wear earrings for PE. They need to be removed or taped up.

Children may NOT come to school with hairstyles of an extreme fashion or with excessive hair gel applied.

All children in KS1 and Reception are asked to tie their hair back in a hair tie or in plaits if it is long.

Nail varnish or make-up is not to be worn in school.
